Yesterday I spoke at the inspiration day of the Alfa College in Groningen. When you view the world through musical glasses, everything sounds better. Especially at important moments in life, music brings people closer together. It was an inspiration day that had everything in it. Emotion, poignancy and sadness, but also connection, humor and fun.
The theme of the day was: “together we will find out”. A rewarding subject to approach from a musical perspective. How do you come up with a beautiful piece of music? How do you set the tone? And what is more important: what you do, or when you do it?
